Razia’s Shadow: A Musical

2016

I undertook the challenging yet fulfilling task of directing and designing the projections for the alt-rock musical “Razia’s Shadow”. Based on the concept album released by indie-rock band Forgive Durden in 2008, the musical narrates the tale of a world divided by the selfish deeds of a powerful, insecure angel. Through the generations of darkness, a courageous couple finally unites the world with their love and sacrifice.

The musical production was a year-long project that demanded a great deal of dedication and perseverance. From designing the projections to directing the performance, every aspect of the musical required intricate planning and execution. Despite the challenges, the end result was truly rewarding. The success of the production was a testament to the hard work put in by the entire team.

“Razia’s Shadow” not only showcased the talents of the performers but also highlighted the unique and engaging storyline. The production captivated the audience with its thought-provoking plot and impressive visuals, making it a truly memorable experience for everyone involved.
